【AI-Powered Sustainable Manufacturing】Renishaw Launches New Equator-X™ Gauging System at TMTS 2026

Renishaw will debut the all-new Equator-X™ 500 dual-purpose gauging system at TMTS 2026, providing high-speed and flexible inspection solutions for the shop floor. The exhibition will also feature innovative technologies covering assembly calibration, in-line measurement, quality monitoring, and process data management (Booth: E0802).

The Equator-X system features "Absolute" and "Comparison" measurement modes. In Absolute mode, scanning speeds reach 250mm/s, ideal for a wide variety of parts and small-to-medium batches. In Comparison mode, speeds hit 500mm/s, perfect for high-volume inspection of similar parts while compensating for significant shop floor temperature fluctuations. An Equator automated cell integrated with a robotic arm will also demonstrate high-speed automated inspection.

For machine tools, the NC4+ Blue laser tool setting system provides high-precision tool measurement and breakage detection with a repeatability of ±0.5μm (2σ), ensuring "right-first-time" machining. For machine calibration, the XM-60 multi-axis calibrator measures 6 degrees of freedom in a single setup, capturing all geometric errors of an axis—perfect for 5-axis machine tools. Finally, the Renishaw Central platform connects measurement devices for remote monitoring and real-time anomaly detection, empowering users with comprehensive process control.
