【AI-Powered Sustainable Manufacturing】CHMER Showcases NV432L High-Precision Wire-Cut EDM, Driving the Machine Tool Ecosystem via AI-Powered Integration

2026-03-09

CHMER, a global leader in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), aligns with the "Ecosystem × Integrating the Future" theme at TMTS 2026. Focusing on high-end industrial demands in electronics, medical, automotive, and ICT, CHMER presents the NV432L High-Precision Linear Motor Drive Wire-Cut EDM, engineered for extreme precision, stability, and reliability.

The featured NV432L is equipped with CHMER’s self-developed W5N Smart Controller. Utilizing the GenOS Linux real-time operating system, its overall computational performance is 15 times higher than the previous generation. While boosting power, the new controller's volume has been reduced by 90%, fulfilling the needs of energy-saving and green manufacturing—a testament to CHMER’s core advantage in vertical hardware-software integration.

In terms of intelligent applications, the NV432L features a built-in "Intelligent Power Management (IPM)" system powered by the controller's robust processing capacity. It dynamically optimizes power output based on the machining path and real-time discharge status while actively monitoring the health of critical components to significantly reduce the risk of unplanned downtime. Furthermore, combined with the i8+ Energy-Saving Power System and inverter cooling water circulation, the machine achieves the dual goals of high efficiency and reduced power/consumable waste.

Notably, in response to the innovative "Front Shop, Back Factory" model of TMTS 2026, CHMER is hosting a concurrent In-House Show at its Taichung headquarters in addition to the main exhibition booth. The in-house event features 12 machines in operation, integrating automated production lines and IoT applications. Visitors can transition from monitoring individual smart machines to experiencing full-line automation solutions, gaining a concrete look at the practical operation of a machine tool ecosystem.
